Is it possible to get a replacement?** A: If you can not find a replacement part try the hardware store. Take your ricer with you , you may be able to get a long screw and a nut so you are able to use it. **Q: What size is the little clear plastic tube that secures the pin? Mine got lost** A: OD is .212 of an inch ID is .156 of an inch. Or 7/32 OD and 5/32 ID are probably close enough. **Q: Dishwasher safe?** A: Mine just came in a plain cardboard box with no care instructions or anything. Just a barcode on the box saying made in China. It says its commercial so I would have to assume being made for a commercial kitchen it would be dishwasher safe. But again it doesn't say that. **Q: Do I have to peel the potatoes first?** A: I am assuming that you cooked the potatoes already. If you do not want to peel the potatoes, the ricer will do it for you but you understand the peel will not go through the holes and you will end up cleaning the ricer after each potato. If you peel the potatoes before putting them in the ricer (recommended way) you will have a faster process and a lot less work and effort.
