I removed the factory subwoofer, used a thick plastic square and riveted it into the hole where the factory subwoofer was installed. Size and weight is both perfect for the space I had. Probably didn’t need anything larger than an 8 in. I vertically mounted my amp in front of the hole to keep from mounting on rear wall or laying flat on carpet.
