One person job. We hung the swing from the backyard tree, the straps went around the limb and were easy to adjust and very secure. Once the swing hooked to the straps, it easily adjusted for the desired height. This was also a one person job. The kids swung for hours. We had up to four kids on the swing at one time, aged 10, 7, 5, and 3. There was a learning curve when it came to keeping the swing straight while pushing, but the kids never had any difficulty staying on the swing while in motion.
