Pretty quick little buggy. **Q: How fast does is it run.** A: This 1/18 teton runs about 20mph. **Q: Does this include remote control?** A: Yes. The controller comes with it. **Q: How long does a brushed motor last?** A: My brother has this truck and it has lasted a long time. Based on that, my son bought one, ran it for hours a day and the motor died in 3 days. Returned it thinking it was a lemon, bought another, ran it for hours a day, and again the motor died in exactly 3 days. Called Traxxas and they said you have to "break in" the motor first by using it in training mode (training mode runs it at half speed) for 1 full battery. No where in the manual does it say this, so we didn't know that. Bought a replacement motor, did as explained, but then 3 or 4 days later he ran it through a bunch of water and the motor died again. Fan on it brought it back to life, but by then my son had given up on it. We wanted to love it, and I think it would last much better for a normal person who doesn't run it hours a day and I would make sure to break it in like they said just in case that helps. (As an aside, my brother's, which has lasted, accidentally broke his in in that he didn't realize his was set to training mode when it came to him. So he ran it that way for a while before he realized.)
