In the picture the color looks like a reddish dark brown, but in reality they are a more tan version of the Oatmeal, or a light brown, which is exactly the color I wanted. I also ordered them a half size below my usual shoe size because that was the overwhelming suggestion in what I had heard about Sperrys. People said they stretch out when you break them in, so it is recommended to get them in a smaller size than your usual size. After I got them, I tried them on and walked around for a bit and they were pretty comfortable. They will need some breaking in, but for day one they were pretty good. Also, I was pleased with how they look because I was wearing some stupid looking pants today for a Halloween prank and even on those the shoes looked pretty good so they must look nice when worn with normal pants. The best part about these shoes is that you can wear them with pretty much anything and they will look nice. I have seen my friends wearing them with jeans or khakis and they look good. They are casual enough that you can slip them on with some jeans or shorts, but not so casual that you can't wear them khakis. My friends also wear them with khakis and they look good on those too.
