When I called for the help, they wanted to remotely log into my laptop???** A: They did this to me too, but did not ask permission. When confronted They immediately logged out and hung up. Called support back and they stuttered their way through saying they would never do that and I must have the wrong number. Returned the product. Improved WiFi signal immediately. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Device with some setup complications *by P***K on February 12, 2023* Knowing that my router doesn't have WPS, I installed the Netgear Nighthawk app on my iPhone as per the instructions. The app allowed me to find the device with my phone but wouldn't connect and then produced a message that the Nighthawk app is not compatible with my device. Therefore, I connected my Mac to the adapter and launched the page that is provided in the instructions, but the page would not load. I had to go to my wifi settings, manually find the IP address of the adapter, then go to this manually. I was then able to create an account and connect the device to my router and connect to the internet. I then moved the device to the ideal place in my apartment for best distribution of signal and tried to connect another device. I connected, but couldn't get internet access. After ten minutes or so, it connected.
