The box of rangers/vanguard can make one unit of ten or two units of five. Add in a skitarii "getting started" box set for an hq, two more units of troops and one of the best/cheapest heavy support units on the table and bring them as their own battalion detachment. We had a blast putting them together, and it started my ad mech army of the Omnissiahs chosen. Dont make my mistake and buy a starter set first! But still, i have no regrets getting this and if they ad mech i would recommend 2000% their snipers are good, and they have both good assault and ranged guys. Recommend to make one squad each but the variability is key to these guys.
