I can now wear my partial denture which was previously rubbing on my top gum. Gengigel literally worked and calmed my gums from being painful, red and swollen to normal, within 3 days. I'm on warfarin blood thinners and didn't realise that some of the ones that had numbing agents like Daktarin are contra indicated. Hence in 3 wks my INR (clotting level), increased from 2 to above the reference range to 3.3, putting me at risk of bleeding. Gengigel is not contraindicated. I would highly recommend. I had ulcers and gum problems after a few days the results were amazing. My dentist recommended this product. I’ve always got a tube in the cupboard. **Q: Does the product stick to the gums, and does it then harden or remain gloopy? Does brushing teeth remove it fully ? Then presumably reapply?** A: It doesn't harden and you should massage it in to the sore or ulcer and not just dab it on so that the active ingredient can be absorbed. It's not like a liquid plaster or similar. I would think you should reapply if you clean your teeth afterwards but I would apply after eating and cleaning teeth. The pain could be excruciating especially when food and debris was stuck there. I rubbed and flossed this gel into the affected areas and after about 5 days the swelling and pain reduced. 14 days later and the area has now completely healed.
