Review: Great for wading staff - All good....bought this for a wading staff for fishing. I know they sell one with a lesser weight for staffs, but I wanted to be sure it stayed up close to me when I don't need it, so went for this one. This one does a nice job doing exactly that and the only thing I notice is when I have it out walking for a period, the pull of the retractor is noticeable on your arm. Still glad I got this one.

All good....bought this for a wading staff for fishing. I know they sell one with a lesser weight for staffs, but I wanted to be sure it stayed up close to me when I don't need it, so went for this one. This one does a nice job doing exactly that and the only thing I notice is when I have it out walking for a period, the pull of the retractor is noticeable on your arm. Still glad I got this one.
