The only issue may be that you need to add a few sandbags worth of weight on the base if he / she is going to be dunking on you a lot. Happy practicing! **Q: how easy is it to move the goal?** A: It's not hard to move it at all. When it's not filled it's easier but even when filled it's fairly easy to do on your own. **Q: What are the dimensions of the base? One person said 7 feet long, but that seems too long. Can anyone verify?** A: Base Dimensions are 49.5 in. x 30.5 in. x 8.2 in. **Q: Is this an acrylic or poly-carbonate backboard?** A: Acrylic...and, the kids Love it! So, I'm sure adults will too. ## Frequently Bought Together - Lifetime 51544 Front Court Portable Basketball System, 50 Inch Shatterproof Backboard - BaseGel Polymer for Basketball Goal and Outdoor Indoor Sign Hoops Bases, Perfect Replacement for Sand and Sandbags to Anchor Portable Sports Pools Baskets, Easy to Use and Apply with Water, 16 oz - Spalding Street Performance All Surface Outdoor Basketballs - 29.5", 28.5", 27.5" --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.us/products/1813011-lifetime-51544-front-court-portable-basketball-system-50-inch-shatterproof](https://www.desertcart.us/products/1813011-lifetime-51544-front-court-portable-basketball-system-50-inch-shatterproof) --- *Product available on Desertcart United States of America* *Store origin: US* *Last updated: 2026-11-01*
