Almost all of my (indoor-only) cats have enjoyed a little grass now and again, but escorted visits to the front yard are subject to the whims of weather, season, and lawnmowers (and only if you don't use any lawn chemicals). I plant the seeds it in a little 6" pot with some basic soil, give them a splash of water, and boom — sprouts everywhere in just a few days. I also have a dedicated LED grow light about the pot of grass to stimulate growth. What really impressed me is how nearly every seed seems to sprout.
