The navy color is dark and flattering. The material isn't too light. It hangs well and moves beautifully. The slit isn't too high. I'm 5'9" and wore low heels; it came to the floor. Not unmanageable.I usually go with a 2x, but found it too clingy around my hips and the elastic around the waist was too taut. I went up to 3x for the extra material and it draped perfectly.
