**Q: How can this contain cacao and not have caffeine?**
A: According to one source,  cacao doesn’t actually contain caffeine.  It has a similar stimulant called theobromine that is found only in cacao.  https://www.realrawfood.com/cacao-info
In another source, it shows that there are 12 mg per tablespoon of cacao.  If we assume that is the case, there isn’t that much cacao in each cocoa mix package as there isn’t that much mix in a single packet.  So I would say if there is caffeine in this, it is probably very negligible (1-2 mg, maybe 3?).

**Q: Is this a product of the USA**
A: Foreign ingredients have nothing to do with the California lead warning. It is on ALL cocoa products, due to the nature of the soil.

**Q: Is t gluten free?**
A: It is gluten free!

**Q: Does the Stevia give it a weird aftertaste like Stevia can do?**
A: I don't feel like it does at all. Even my kids like this. It is for sure more of a less-sweet, Cacao flavor. Not a sweet hot chocolate flavor.

Really good cacao and I like that it's vegan. Although I don't think it has caffeine in it, it definitely gives you bit of energy without the buzz. This was what I first noticed when I tried it after only a few sips, and that part of it is very strong. I can see why they come in serving sizes of only 4 oz. However, to make a proper cup that you can enjoy for a while, you need to use two packets for 8 oz. Which I would recommend. Although, I wouldn't recommend this as just general warm drink, it's not that. It will make you feel too awake. I don't know what they put in this. It doesn't list the exact mushrooms on the package, but whatever it is, it works. The overall flavor is not that sweet or strong, and I have had more chocolatey and creamier cacao before, but I think this is pretty good stuff. You can definitely taste and smell the mushrooms in it, but that isn't an overpowering flavor to the chocolate. Some people may not like that though and would prefer no mushroom flavor. If you expect just the taste of warm chocolate, that won't be it for you.
