**Q: I have the foredom s series (from over 25+ yrs ago).  will this fit?**
A: it did for mine, mine was about the same age as yours

**Q: Just received mine. Was it supposed to come in two parts instead of together? The description says "pre-lubrictaed," but it doesn't appear to be.**
A: I had another brand of flex shaft, but decided to use the Foredom cable and sleeve. I just used super lube on the internal part, and put it in the sleeve.  Don't let It hang down after use as the grease has a tendency to run down and gets in the handpiece. It's just that simple.  Well, adjust the sleeve per-instruction so the tip that goes into the handpiece as I recall is supposed to be like 3/4 inch to insert. Hope that helps.

**Q: is this key or square drive**
A: It is key and very simple to replace.

**Q: Will this replace a Wecheer? sure looks identical.**
A: cant answer your query, but would be skeptical about the "fit" being right between companies or brands, i ordered for foredom machine and it was better than my original i bought with the machine, good luck !

    Way easier to install than anticipated

I had to replace this on my foredom recently because I burned up my old one accidentally with misuse. I was skeptical that I was going to be able to take the machine apart and put this new piece on, but it actually didn’t even require that and instructions were clear, easy to understand for a novice And installation was fast. Don’t forget to lube it!

These are the correct shaft and sheath parts although they come pre-lubed from Foredom but not from this seller.  I always add a nice bead of grease regardless, so it's not a big deal to me.  If you do purchase this product...****** make certain that you grease the shaft before putting it inside the sheath and attaching the motor connector *****.
