I am a marine engineer and noise levels in my work place are up to 120 Decibels. With this ear defenders the noise levels are greatly reduced to comfortable levels. The fit is perfect and comfortable inspite of my large head size and spectacles which i wear continuously. The material and build quality is fantastic. It's sturdy. Note this is a ear defender which means it reduces the surrounding noise levels to acceptable limits. They are not noise cancelling/blocking ear phones. Near high-pitch sounds are diminished to 20-30%. Near low-frequency high-intensity sounds, such as bass of speakers are diminished till acceptable level.
