Now, for those reviews concerning the Destiny download, I would think you have have enough sense to downrate Destiny itself and not a PS4 console that happens to include Destiny? Obviously the people complaining haven't tried to download The Witcher or GTA V yet. Onto the console, the design straight out the box is beautiful. The white color allows for the high gloss on the top to be good, because I feel like if it was any other color it would be a fingerprint catcher. This console comes with a matching white controller, HDMI cable, typical power supply, controller charger, a pair of earphones (rather useless but I guess it's the thought that counts) and of course, Destiny the game. Upon unboxing everything Destiny will give you a 30 day free PS+ trial which is pretty sweet since you don't really want to have to pay for something right after you just slammed almost $450 bucks for a console. The only downside is the download time to play Destiny, but I'm not going to take a star off of the review because Sony did not make Destiny therefore it is not their fault and they don't deserve a review about a PS4 being put down because of non-Sony content. The Destiny download time is reasonable considering the content of the game, it just takes patience to wait it out. I think patience is what a lot of gamers nowadays are lacking which reflects on the poor reviews referring to the game. In the meantime I downloaded Far Cry 4 and it ran beautifully. No bumps, no hassles. Setup on the PS4 is so much easier than the PS3 and a lot more things can be going on in the background at once. For instance I could be watching Netflix while Destiny downloads! All in all, everything was fantastic. Whoever Mia Putrino is, she is obviously clueless. I just got back from GameStop and saw the actual display box for this bundle. It clearly said CUH-11xx which says it's still the old model. *EDIT* - I apologize for the misinformation. I did do a search on this new model and could not find any concrete info on it, so when I saw the box had the old model number I immediately thought this person from Sony just didn't know what they were talking about. That said, it was a little sad that I was easily able to find info on and knew when Japan and Europe were getting the new models, but it was like pulling teeth to find out when we were getting it. It took someone mentioning the box had the wrong model number on it to get Sony to actually confirm the mistake. That's pathetic. **Q: is it coming with a psn card** A: No you do not get a PSN card. However, you do get a 30 day trial of PS+. **Q: Can ps3 games be played on a ps4?** A: Not in the way you think. You can't put ps3 discs on a ps4. It won't play them. So you'll have to keep your ps3 to play your game collection. If you don't mind paying again, there are several games that have been released on both consoles or that have been remastered for the ps4. They also offer a subscription service that let's you stream games to your ps4 and play them. Trust me I had to do the same. I just choose to run the download overnight. It's a online game with real time equated into it. There are tons of moving parts so for a first installation it's required. However to speed up your connection just change your ps4 ip adress to googles. These bundles did sell out in the small town I live in though, so I can't really complain. The one I got also came with a physical copy of Destiny which I prefer, and I got the 30 day Playstation Plus trial as well. The PS4 has a very intuitive interface, amazing graphics, and some great games. The console itself is absolutely beautiful. It's very glossy and has a stunning, intricate design. I had no opinion of Destiny before buying this bundle and honestly went in with low expectations. I ended up loving the game and play it every chance I get. It's an awesome combination of mmo, rpg, and fps, and it's in space! I love the scifi feel to it. I originally bought this bundle because I thought it looked better than the original PS4, but now I am thrilled that I own a Destiny limited edition console. The expansion packs it comes with are pretty cool too. I got to start the game at level 25 and got some nice armor. I also love the PS4 controller. I never was really a fan of the Xbox controller and I simply tolerated the Wii and Wii U designs so I could play some of my favorite Nintendo exclusive games. My favorite controller has always been the gamecube controller, and this is the best I can get with a new generation console. It integrates the touch pad well, and the colors that change along with the game is a very cool idea. I'm looking forward to spending many hours playing Destiny and will be buying more games soon. Edit: Don’t buy consoles through amazon. Mine has had nothing but problems.
