The battery DID charge, but did not power the device I bought it for. I checked it with a battery tester and discovered it was delivering 8 volts instead of 6, as it should have been.Please note that the battery charger ships with a piece of clear plastic film inside that covers the metal contacts. It is nearly invisible and I did not notice it until I turned the charger upside down and the film fell out. One is a Minolta Maxxum 3000i the other is a Canon EOS 10. The juice rechargeable battery works fine in the Minolta but will not operate in the Canon. It has enough power to operate the Canon's focus motor and shutter but not enough to run the wind motor. Please don't take this as preaching but I have had this problem with other rechargeable camera batteries also. They can make the volts but most fall short in making the amps. If you are a pro you better stick with the Lithium 2CR5 and even then take a couple of new ones along on your assignment. Put tape over the contacts if you take them in your pocket.
