They're cheaper, sturdier, and have steel components in the latching mechanism. Did I mention they're CHEAPER?If you need extremely light duty touch to open slides these may work for you. Keep in mind the mechanism is entirely plastic and will fail, in my case within a week. I put these on a tool cart in my garage and just the cart rolling over the textured floor made the drawer pop open. Not worth the price nor time to install them. I wouldn't even put these in a kitchen. Save your money and buy the Accuride slides. Their trigger is shorter and they'll last way longer than this hot garbaje. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love the Push-to-Open design *by R***I on Reviewed in the United States on June 1, 2020* I'm building a Galley in the back of my Jeep Wrangler and have 3 drawers that I need to stay closed when I'm driving and open easily once I set-up camp and need to cook. Do your math and make sure you have the right offset to allow for about a .25" push to unlock gap. I'm doing a inset drawer face so this won't be a problem for me. My galley is black so it's an added bonus that the drawer glides are black too! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ can't get them to close most of the time *by S***N on Reviewed in the United States on August 27, 2019* **UPDATE: I contacted the seller and they have been very responsive and helpful. They think there's a defect in the slide so are sending me a new one. Changing rating from 3 to 5 for excellent customer service!I bought these in 2 different sizes and have had the same problem. Sometimes they click shut. Sometimes they don't and simply get stuck in the "pop out" position . I thought maybe pulling the drawers all the way so the mechanism resets was the issue, but this does not consistently work either. This happens even when there's nothing in the drawers, so is not weight related. Both the hubby and I are experienced doing this type of work and have installed many drawer glides, so I don't believe it's an installation issue as they've been properly positioned and leveled.
