This has layers and layers of inbuilt safety. It truly is worth every penny and has amazing features
Wow, this not only makes it easier in the car park to get your child in and out, it also makes it safer for your back at the same time of abating the car that parks and makes it awkward for you. It swivels easily with the simple pull on one of the levers at the front rim of the seat. So it can turn left 90° or 180° to face backwards. It also can turn right 90° or 180° . It is stylish and very sturdy. I was pleased to see the layers of cushions that are memory foam so they truly protect your child. It is designed to be very secure in the car with belt couplings and also the bottom couplings to your seat belt bars (instructions very clear on how to do this right and safely). In fact the instructions are amazing, they truly are. Over a hundred pages of how to change setup and reconfigure as your child grows. It is easy to clean, even the hardest of body fluids and milk sick. I really love the belt and multipoint harness it is thoroughly secure and its piece-parts interlock together around the main securing buckle. This is fairly easy to do with an extremely wriggling child but i would say you couldnt easily do this one handed. It is an awesome design. On ballance i would have to say you definately can see where all the 'extra' cost has gone into the design of this seat and its clearly in its safety aspects and comfort. I have no hessitation at saying this has to be one of the best car seats on the market and it truly is worth every penny. Happy to highly recommend, Andrew

Maxi Cosy car seat from birth to approximately 4 years old
Good quality car seat from Maxi Cosy from birth up to 4 years old.The first two years your little one is going to be rear facing after that your little one will have to be front facing unfortunately. I’m a believer rear facing for the first 4 years as that’s much safer in a case of an accident. Now to the car seat. It was easy to install. The swivel function works no problem. The seat is well padded, fabrics feel nice and durable. The seat comes with a newborn insert which I removed as my boy is one year old already. The harness works well and it’s easy enough to strap the little one in and to release it. The swivel function works a treat on my back as I don’t have to twist my back when I put my boy in and out the car seat. The seat is rather heavy which is pretty standard for these kind of car seats though. Always make sure the car seat is installed correctly and is suitable for your car model which you can check on your car manufacturers webpage.I prefer our other car seat though that’s from birth to 4 years rear facing and I’m thinking to purchase a car seat that allows rear facing up to 25kg. And there is the downfall of this car seat as you can only rear face your child up to 2 years old. If you have a tall and heavy child perhaps less than that and I really wouldn’t recommend any child forward facing until they are 4 as that’s safest for them.I hope you found my review helpful in any way.

We really like this!
This is an innovation that looks like a gimmick, but actually does something very useful for anyone who has struggled to get a child in and out of a conventional seat. The high price is a shock, but you do get a lot of seat for the money. It faces forward or backward by simply being rotated, and faces sideways – facing you – when getting the child into and out of it. That’s pretty cool. The seat is good for babies and up to age four. It does this by being convertible for different ages. Installation is easy enough; certainly no more difficult than any other seat. You can’t really play around with its features until it is installed, so get it in the car first. Once installed, the controls are one-handed as you’d expect. Obviously, at some point your child will be too big to have the seat rear-facing, but you’ll know when that’s the case. And if you don’t there’s an indicator to help with that decision. This seat is heavy, weighing in at 12.7Kg. Inevitably, the box it arrives in is even heavier. You might need someone to carry it into the house and to the car. It is very sturdy though, and so far as I can see it meets the legal standards. It is made of hardwearing fabrics that are dark enough to not show stains, and is reasonably easy to keep clean. We had no problems with our toddler and her drinks and snacks in it. Actually, she liked it and enjoyed travelling in it.We were testing it just as the UK’s xcovid-19 lockdown began, but we did manage to do a few journeys. Overall, we really liked this seat. It has some novel and handy features that are a lot more than gimmicks, and it offers longevity and value by being adaptable for several years of use with one child. It ain’t cheap, but it is very nice indeed.
