Product Description Talisman: The Woodland Expansion Directions 1. Remove the game from its packaging. 2. Place the game board on a flat surface. 3. Shuffle the Animal cards and place them face down on the designated space on the board. 4. Each player chooses a character and places their token on the starting space. 5. Players take turns rolling the dice and moving their token clockwise around the board, following the path through the Woodland. 6. Encounter creatures, events, and dangers as directed by the cards drawn. 7. Follow the alternative endings and character transformations as described in the game rules. 8. The first player to reach the Crown of Command and complete their destiny wins the game.

The only thing I never liked was the translation. So when I had the chance to grab the complete 4th revised edition in English, I took it! „The Dragons“ being the last add-on I was missing. I bought it and it actually pretty good! Not the best of all the expansions, but still worth an overall of five stars. Delivery from the UK was really fast, especially considering the current shortage on drivers for logistics due to brexit and other recent events. desertcart.co.uk has always been my favorite in supplying me with games and book in their native language.
Review: Great expansion, even with a 2nd edition version - Almost 30 years after buying my 2nd edition Talisman set, I bought the Dungeon expansion as my son has now got into the game. Unlike the Timescape (original) expansion, which we have only played a few times, the Dungeon one really improves the game and we use it every time we play. The Dungeon cards are a separate pack to the Adventure deck so we can use them despite the different editions, and although the Spell cards are designed to be shuffled into the regular 4th edition spell deck, we use them by choosing alternately from the 2 spell decks. This is a great expansion and I would recommend it even with the old 2nd edition base game.

I‘ve been a big fan of Talisman since I was a teenager. I bought the first (German) edition more than 30 years ago. The only thing I never liked was the translation.
