Review: Saved My Life! - With temps in the 90’s and high humidity, life was difficult enough. Add to that my job as a cashier in a fast-moving wholesale warehouse and you have the definition of “dead on my feet”! Halfway through the shift, my hair was soaked and I looked as if I just climbed out of the shower. We had A/C and it was good for the shoppers, but for us cashiers it fell short because of all the lifting and packing we are required to do. One of the floor managers noticed my red face and wet hair. She removed the O2Cool fan she was wearing and told me to try it while she went on break. It was Heaven on Earth! I couldn’t believe how cool the air was and how effective the device was in delivering it. When I got home I went straight to desertcart and purchased the 2-pack. It was delivered the next day. We have cooler air now, but it stays in my pocketbook and will be accessible if needed. It is powered by two AA batteries. **Q: What are the dimensions for the whole unit?   The product specs say 6.2 x 4.7 x 1.5", but from the reviews it doesn't seem almost 5" (4.7) wide.**
A: This item measures approximately. 4.5" tall x 3.25" wide x 7/8" deep. Unfortunately the dimensions and weights of many products on Amazon are not correct. For what ever reason, Amazon does not take the time to be sure they are correct. I always advise people, that if actual size and weight are important, then it is best to ask before purchasing, as you did. **Q: Whats the difference in this one vs the deluxe?**
A: This is NOT the deluxe. The deluxe has a stand on the back that allows you to sit it on a table and point is towards you.

**Q: what is deluxe about this compared to the regular o2cool neckace fan?**
A: The fan in this is actually a lot more powerful than other brands, this kept my face cool to my visit in Jamaica which is a very very humid place. Its worth the buy. And it works even better in places not as humid as Jamaica.

**Q: Can the lanyard be swapped out with a "nicer" one of my own?**
A: Yes, if you carefully take the fan apart, you can swap it out for a nicer one. You just need a tiny screw driver.

I wanted a fan to use while wearing my fursuit and this is a decent size. The cord is a little short but it shouldn't be too big of an issue.
