So looking up desertcart for Melissa & Doug Xylophones, I clicked buy without second thought, TRUSTING HER BLINDLY. To my surprise, while the build quality of this toy is fantastic, with strong rubust mallets and thick wood and metal keys (to be fair nothing could be worse in comparison to the splintering excuse of sushi chopsticks wrapped in rebar shavings of my son's previous toy), I have an Eb, Fb, and a G# on this toy. WHAT, may I ask, is the point of this well-produced out-of-tune toy? My son is going to be playing with this through his young, impressionable age and grow up to sing a demented minor key version of the ABC song! If he develops perfect pitch, it'd be perfectly off key. So, yay to toy, nay for musical accuracy. I give 3/5, which is slightly better than 4/7, the number of accurate keys on the Xylophone I received.
