**Q: Is it hardbound? I see durable poly part but that doesnt mean its hardbound**
A: It does not have a hard surface. It is bound with a plastic Poly covering.  
Durable poly front and back covers with wire binding for on-the-go art and creativity

**Q: Is the paper good for water color pencils? Beginner artist here**
A: This paper does not have extra sizing for wet media so I think for watercolor pencils a mixed media paper might work better.

I like the weight, paper quality is good, I like the look and the lack of bleed through. This definitely makes a good gift. While it's not for paint or water color a light touch works. Markers tend to cause the paper to bend.
