If you roll the belt and put vertically you can even fit 2 regular belts in one square. **Q: Do this have inserts for the sides** A: the sides are reinforced. when you open the box out. i love mine its so easy to keep drawer tidy. they hold a lot of things. socks, underwear etc. I would not do without mine now. **Q: What size are the individual pockets where you put the socks?** A: They are approximately 8 1/2 x 9 1/2 x 9 deep . Measurements in centimetres. The walls of the cubes are flexible. **Q: Can these be washed?
