No smell. Nice texture. Goes on smooth. Just a warning, though: A little goes a long way. However, I do have a problem with the bottle. It leaks, like the oil's seeping out from every nook and cranny. The oil gets all over the cap, some down the sides, and this leaves a ring on whatever surface I rest the bottle on. I have very dry skin and hoped this would be a "solution". It's effective...but not as much as I had hoped and doesn't seem to work any better than a bunch of other things (bought in the drug stores) work. Perhaps I haven't had it long enough (several weeks), or used it often enough (once a day), but so far am not overly impressed. But everyone's skin is different and perhaps it will be worth the money for someone else. I found that it also could be used on my face, very dry and chapped hands and lips in the winter, dry and cracked feet in the summer. I also had some sort of allergic reaction with hives breaking out all over my chest, which left dry and itchy patches that took forever to help on my chest.. the emu oil cleared this up quickly.
