**Q: Looking for a mixer to mic drum kit (4 mic) for practice play along tracks. Will this unit work for this application?**
A: It looks to me like you need a 1202VLZ4 mixer to get 4 mic inputs.

**Q: Can this be added to an amplifier to power two 4ohms speakers?**
A: You need an amplifier to get any sound out of this.  As far as 4 ohm is concerned it depends on your amp, not your mixer.

**Q: Can 2 laptops connect to this mixer?**
A: Technically, yes. But personally I find the highest quality hookup would be to go from the laptop (1/8 inch connection from the headphone jack) to a right and left 1/4 inch into channels 3/4. You can hook a second laptop into the rca tape input, or probably one of the single 1/4 inch in channels 1 or 2 as well, but ideally, for 2 laptops, I'd like to have another channel with a right and left 1/4 inch connection.

**Q: if i wanted to connect this to my computer all i would need is rca caple right?**
A: You can use the tape outs with RCA cable. The other answer is also semi-correct: you can use the main outs with 1/4" cables.
