We were shocked by how many food allergies he had, and only 4 kinds didn't have any of his allergies - the Salmon and Whitefish are 2 of them. Most places will say fish, but then add other protein by-products, making the name misleading and Open Farms does not do that. Their ingredient list is easy to read. For the first time in the time since he came to me, his mouth isn't bright red. He still has a couple environmental allergies, but my goodness I am so grateful to Open Farms for finally allowing me to feel like a good dog dad. I understand the price is a bit much when people first see it, but for me it has been worth it seeing my dog not scratch and cry constantly. My dog loves the food. It does smell like fish, but it does not make my dog smell like fish. My dog does try to fool me by using his buttons to ask for more food, pretending I forgot to feed him where he likes it that much!
