The pack says that it's Mediterranean Sea salt.  Obviously no mention of microplastics.
It's from France, so I guess that it's from the western end of the Mediterranean.

**Q: could this be used for a bath additive?**
A: Hi, I have asked other people I know and they have used it as a homemade bath salt with oils and whatnot.  
I would think, if we got o the beach and bathe surrounded by seawater (salty) at that, then using those salts which originate from the sea would be OK, unless you are allergic to any added component (if any)
