Review: Good value sander and I have found acceptable replacement sanding sheets. - First, understand that I bought this for occasional use on minor jobs - smoothing edges of cut wood, etc. I did not buy it as a hard working DIY tool for (e.g. rubbing down when decorating). The cordless feature was essential for my application. I can easily pick it up and use it anywhere without the need for cables, etc. It can be used at moment notice without preparation - I can even take it into the garden. This works well. The comfort of use is not so good as I might have hoped but is more than adequate for my needs The dust extraction facility is, so far, untested because of the minor nature of the tasks to which I put it. Spare sanding sheets are not listed on desertcarta and the supplier does not offer then (I asked ) but after a bit of a search I found some on desertcart that had nearly the right pattern of extraction holes (though it would not have mattered for my purpose) - certainly near enough. I used SIQUK but I suspect that any with that visual pattern of holes would be OK. Overall, I am delighted with the item for my application and my star rating reflects that - it does not mean that I consider it to be as good as a 'quality' branded product - but it might be!

Of interest the battery is the same as that fitted to another chinese mark Yurnivana, of which I have a mini circular saw. **Q: How long does the battery last?**
A: Long enough for some DIY work. I used it to sand a door I was renovating and it managed a number of passes. It’s probably do 20 - 30 minutes continuous use and is quite powerful. It’s not a Pro tool though and if you want serious use get a Milwaukee Dewalt or Makita with a bigger battery

**Q: Can it be used on gates and fences**
A: It definitely can be. It’s quite powerful and you can use coarse grit sand paper with it. However, the only caveat would be that the battery isn’t huge and the run time consequently isn’t super long. Maybe 25 minutes. So it’s fine for a small job but a larger project you’re better off with a corded sander or a more pro level battery one like a Milwaukee or similar. I hope that helps?

A: Yes is does come with a battery and charger but it's a bit small for sanding boats

**Q: Battery doesn’t seem to charge. Should lights on battery come on when being charged?**
A: There is a light on the plug that will go red when battery is flat and slowly turn green when it is charged
