He loved it and we were able to read together and discuss and then of course follow up with the movie. He hasn't been able to put it down since it arrived earlier this week. It is nice to be able to motivate him to read in the summer with the prospect of a good story and a movie. The story is great for teaching about and encouraging discussions about emotions, sacrifice, and humanity. The plot story develops well and adequately introduces and builds the charter and the story. It was also nice for a young reader that the portions of the story that are memories are printed in italics in order to separate and cue to young reader that it is in fact a recollection of the past. My son has really enjoyed reading this novel. Review: Wonderful and enjoyable book of the possible! - My supervisor/lead recommended this book to me since I was reading a Chicken Soup for the Soul book. I ordered it from desertcart. After I received it, I moved it to the front of my reading list. I am happy that I did. This story at the beginning of the book reminds me of the story, “The Tale of Tabby” from Chicken Soup for the Soul: Think Possible. The young and main characters each need a special dog to help them in different ways. The respective dog bonds with young person and helps him in the future. This is an inspirational story. Nice to visualize the actual stars into the story. It was one of those books that was hard to put down, making it a quick read. Have not seen the movie yet but can't wait to do so. Wanted to do the "read the book, see the movie" thing.
