**Q: can i make this at home using any pan and rocks?**
A: Absolutely.  Not sure how this got such a great review on Amazon.  This is a rather flimsy plastic tray with a baggie full of fancy gravel.  I'm sure the actual production cost of this was well under $1.  I bought it "Like- New" so mine came with a zip-loc sandwich baggie full of gravel and a cheap china made plastic tray wrapped and taped together.  I actually feel pretty silly for buying it.  Read the description, you don't get much.  My fault.  I thought it was a pot. It's a 1/2" deep looking tray.

**Q: Others have stated these are not 8x10”.  What is the actual size?**
A: If by 8x10 you mean 6x8, then yes it’s the size you want.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Looks great and highly functional but cheap material build

I really like this tray. It simply serves it's purpose. I use it to help keep my bonsai properly hydrated and catch any excess water that may run out the bottom of the pot. The only reason that I feel it deserves 4 stars and not 5 is that the tray is made of a very cheap plastic with slightly rough edges. For the price, which I feel is high, I feel that it should be made with a better material, or atleast, smooth out the edges. It does feel flimsy in the hands like the kind of plastic that can crack or break after several years of use. None the less, It is still very presentable and displays my bonsai nicely atop my desk. The pebbles are the right size and the tray comes with just the bare amount without a single pebble to spare. While I didn't have a problem with that, I can understand where some feel that they were shorted a few pebbles, and for that reason, I would recommend that the seller add just a bit extra. I highly recommend this product and hope you will enjoy it as much as I intend to.
