## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is the ink waterproof? If I use them on glossy paper will they smear?**
A: Although I haven't tried them specifically on glossy paper, I have tried them on several non-paper surfaces (such as a semi-gloss canvas). If you give the ink ample time to dry (will be tacky after just a few minutes and then totally dry after several hours) then it will likely not smear. However, if I went back to the canvases that I've done with them and wiped a damp cloth across, I'm rather certain the ink would smudge, so I do not believe that the ink is waterproof.

**Q: What is the difference between this set & the set of 60 which is about the same price?**
A: i would guess that there are several more colors. if it's the same price as the 48 pen set, i'd go with the 60. i love the pens. they color like the copics - nice and even - AND you can color your stamps with them to make the impression. i can't do that with copics. the copics dry too fast. i really enjoy my Faber Castell Pitt Brush Pens.

**Q: where can I find a list of the colors in this set?**
A: ivory (103), light yellow glaze (104), cadmium yellow (107), dark camium yellow (108), dark chrome yellow (109), phtalo blue (110), leaf green (112), orange glaze (113), light skin (114), medium skin (116), scarlet red (118), ultramarine (120), pale geranium lake (121), middle purple pink (125), pink carmine 127), pink madder lake (129), light flesh (132), magenta (133), crimson (134), purple violet (136), cobalt blue (143), sky blue (146), ice blue (148), cobalt turquoise (153), light cobalt turquoise (154), cobalt green (156), dark indigo (157), phtalo green (161), light phtalo green (162), permanent green olive (167), caput mortuum (169), may green (170), chromium green opaque (174), dark sepia (175), raw umber (180), Indian red (192), black (199), light indigo (220), cold grey I (230), cold grey III (232), cold grey VI (235), lilac (239), indianthrene blue (247), dark phtalo green (264), green gold (268), warm grey I (270), warm grey III (272), warm grey IV (273)

**Q: Can you blend these colors?**
A: Yes, to an extent. Here is an example of a work in progress where I have used blending with these pens on prepped canvas: http://www.redoleandergallery.com/Red_Oleander_Gallery/Works_in_Progress.html#7 However when trying to blend on paper I found the results to be more like what you might expect from a regular marker.
