**Q: Are the gloves in the picture the actual ones you get? I've seen reviews where that's not the case; just making sure.**
A: Yes. But I advise you to order 2 sizes smaller than usual. I wear medium in all other Mechanix Wear gloves, but these mediums are extra large for me. Other than that, great gloves. I use them every day.

**Q: Are these okay for metal detecting since they are capable for forest work?**
A: Anything and everything!!!

**Q: will they work on a touch screen? I'm not asking about how well they work being bulky, I just want to know if the phone responds when you press it.**
A: The gloves are not touch screen compatible.

**Q: Are they water resistant**
A: Yes and no, the leather is resistant to the water, but after getting wet the leather starts to fall apart. Would not be my first choice
