Installation tips: the process is straightforward, but you definitely need a stud finder and a drill. Make sure to accurately identify which way your ceiling joists are running. This was our first time doing a project like this, and I accidentally assumed the joist ran one way (horizontal) when it actually ran the other (vertical). I ended up with an extra hole that I had to spackle. It wasn't a huge deal, but definitely double check your joist direction before you drill your pilot holes!
