Protect.The Provoke First Responder morphing karambit knife is among the first to feature Kinematic technology, staying neatly tucked away in transit and coming to life when there’s trouble afoot. And the multiple carry options plus a glass breaker were designed specifically with men and women in uniform in mind. Around here, we think of Designer Joe Caswell as somewhat of a mad scientist. When we got an eyeful of the sketches that were to become the Provoke—designed in Newbury Park, California—we knew he was destined to become one of the most innovative designers the knife world has ever seen. Modeled after a traditional karambit, the hawkbill-style blade is forged of a premium D2 steel and finished with a black titanium nitride coating for high durability and excellent edge retention. To better equip the men and women in blue, we’ve added a glass breaker to the tip of the frame and included a sheath with numerous gear attachment options to the Provoke First Responder. The opening mechanism is pulling the folder into the future whether it’s ready or not. Thumb pressure on the upper crossbar sets the chain reaction in motion, causing the blade to lunge to action while you’ve got a firm grasp on the handle. It’s crafted of aircraft-grade 6061 aluminum for supreme toughness. In true Joe fashion, the pocket clip is also a world’s first—sitting almost completely flush with the handle and likewise activated with light thumb pressure.The Provoke First Responder comes up strong when it’s called in for duty.How Kinematic WorksNudge the upper crossbar with your thumb—while the rest of your fingers firmly grasp the handle—and the blade lunges to life and locks into place. **Q: Wheres the glass breaker? It says it has a glass breaker in both descriptions.**
A: The glass breaker is on the frame right brside the tip of the blade when the knife is closed. Husband says it's very small.

**Q: so why is it 250 dollars here when it is 225 strait from the factory.**
A: Could be Amazon or another 3rd party vendor trying to make an extra buck.

A: Why did I pay more for the first responder and they shipped me a different knife? And Amazon said they'd credit me $10 wole dollars! Whoa. Thanks for my only option of ruining Christmas for someone and paying waaay more than retail for your mistake. Thanks whoever screwed up my order. Top notch work! Amazon screwed up 3 of my orders this week. I will be deleting my account and not using their service anymore because of incompetence and false advertising.

**Q: Would the knife remain secure in the sheath if the sheath were carried upside down on a necklace?**
A: It's too heavy to hang from your neck. The blade is too short to stay in a sheath if you tried.
