The cat is much smaller than a human (thank goodness!) so you have to be very careful in where you place and aim the sensor or it will flush while your pet is still using the toilet (which none of us appreciate). It also lacks a time delay--if you move out of the sensor's range for just one second it begins flushing. Even a five second delay would make this much more user friendly, for humans and pets alike. On the other hand, it keeps your pet from playing with the floaters...Fine-tuning the installation is a bit finicky, but it's worked reliably since then.
