The extra keys are a huge plus, I put them on my keychain, my wife’s keychain and also kept one in our safe at home after installing. A: Mine did that. Check to see it is hitting something behind. That’s what happened to me. I just had to pull a little when using the lock.

Geeat addition to any SKS compatible Yakima rack. These secure the outermost rack grip to the car crossbars. The kit comes with two lock cores, a master installer key and two keys for the locks (one for each Yakima rack front and back) - its a little confusing when ordering because they want to know the number of sets, so I selected two thinking I was getting 2 kits with 2 cores, but it was one kit with 2 cores - I had to irder another set since I was securing 4 kayak racks to the crossties. Installation was pretty easy, although you do have to jiggle the cores a little to get them to seat in the rack locking hole. They work great at securing your racks and the keys are universal, so they work with any lock. Great value for the function they serve.
