It does keep the dust off of my mixer and has a lovely, good sized pocket on one side. However, it is too big for my mixer and that affects the appearance. I can fold it under and it looks a bit better, but I think I will have to do a bit of pinning and resewing the seams in order to adjust it to the size and appearance that I was expecting.
