Bought it for camping. Compact and light. Review: Not stable! I had to have my mom hold the ladder to stand on the top area - I liked how light weight this ladder is but it does have some cons. Whoever said this was easy to close...they are lying. We both spent several minutes trying to get it to go down and definitely watch your fingers! I would not let your kids near this ladder. Also, it wobbles A LOT! We're talking as you go up you feel it swaying so it's not stable. I had my mom hold the ladder from the side and then I felt safer. If you've got someone to hold it then you should be ok. The legs are straight down which probably is a mistake. They should go out so that you have more balance. I used it, but I don't see this as my go to ladder. If you're used to really stable ladders, this is nothing like them. It was ok. I don't think I'd buy it again.
