I would not recommend using a robot vacuum on it. But maybe try it and watch it the first time to make sure it doesn't tangle? It's slippery due to the type of fiber they use. This fiber will matt up quickly after you start walking on the rug. When vacuuming turn the rollers OFF or you pull out the fibers and will have bald spots throughout your rug. I still buy them for the price and they look good until they break down.
