Review: Very Comfortable Earplugs - Extremely soft and comfortable ear plugs! I've tried a few other earplugs off of desertcart, all around the same price range of about $7-12. Most of them have felt too large or stiff, making it difficult to sleep on my side without waking up the next morning with a little bit of an ache in my ears. This is the third time I've ordered this brand of earplugs and they're definitely a staple for me now. HIGHLIGHTS -Soft and comfortable -Slightly smaller than other brands, adding to the comfort factor -Stay in place all through the night -Block out/reduce sound effectively (does well against my cat meowing like crazy in the middle of the night, and helps drown out the sound of grass mowing when my apartment complex is doing regular trimmings etc.) -As durable as one might expect from a pair of reusable earplugs. Each pair has lasted me about a year or so before starting to show any kind of deformation or discoloration. -Amazing for side sleeping, as the plugs use little tabs at the end instead of elongating the handle/tubular bit like most earplugs. Other brands suggest cutting off the ends to reduce discomfort, but it can be easy to cut too much. These earplugs come perfectly ready to go! NEGATIVES -The metal screw-top carrying/travel case feels unnecessary -Only comes with one plastic snap-closure case (instead of the metal travel case, I think having two more of these plastic style cases would be more useful for the additional pairs of earplugs) -Because the earplugs are softer and slightly smaller, they may not work for someone with larger ears and/or may not be as effective for blocking sound out compared to larger/firmer earplugs. OTHER THOUGHTS -I think offering a version of this product that comes in 3 different colored pairs of earplugs would be helpful in the case of someone ordering this item to divvy up with other people. I ended up ordering a set of Black and Pink separately so that me and my boyfriend wouldn't get confused and mix up the earplugs.
Review: Reduces sound and doesn’t slide out - They work very well. After placing them into your ear they do not slide out easily unless you remove them by hand. Would be very helpful in reducing the chances of hearing loss if you are around loud noises often. I’ve used them as a teen in my Mom’s house where it can get really loud and rowdy and it definitely reduces sound well. You can still hear with them on, sounds are just more muted. Came with three sets of two, an instruction manual, a keychain made to hold them in for transportation, a piece of shoelace(don’t know what that’s for just yet) and a clip on part to attach the container easier.

**Q: Are these earplugs bpa free? do they come in a small size? thanks.**
A: I used to use the small pink foam plugs that were supposedly designed for women but have switched to these. These silicone plugs are more comfortable and fit great. Don't know if they are BPA free.

**Q: Does the stem have to be clipped in order to sleep on your side?**
A: You shouldn’t have to.  It folds easily and is very soft.

**Q: I know the person I'd be buying these for will try to take them out by pulling the cord. Does this cord stay in place well? Is it secure?**
A: Sorry I dont use the cord, I just put them in my ears. The cord is like a shoelace and you push each end into the plugs. I'd think that it would be easier to to pull them out of your ears while using the cord.

**Q: Does this magnify heartbeat in your ears? And is it itchy?**
A: I wear these ear plugs every night because I have chronic insomnia, and I've never heard my heartbeat. They aren't itchy in my ears either, but I wash them at least once a week. I'd like to add that after trying many ear plugs these are the best of the best! They're very comfortable for my very sensitive ears and keeps the sound down leaving in an apartment complex. I can't hear my neighbors above me while I'm sleeping and finding these ear plugs kept me from moving out because of their noise. I give them a 5/5. Hope this helps!😊🌿

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great somewhat durable option

My ears are sensitive to sound and also to pressure, so finding the right earplugs has been a pain. I have been using these for the past two years, and they are both very comfortable and effective at blocking out disruptive noises (I can still hear louder sounds, like the dog barking). Unfortunately, with nightly use, these tend to deform over time so that they no longer seal in the ear canal enough to block sound effectively - a typical pair lasts me 1-3 months. Much better staying power than 'disposable' ear plugs, but I'm still looking for something longer lasting to cut down on waste.
