I was skeptical...and then surprised by the amount of resistance they provide under water. Arrived in a shipping bag with some bubble wrap...which has left permanent "bubble marks" on the foam and there's a dent in one - I can't see the listing from the review page but I feel like these were probably shipped from overseas somewhere, so it doesn't surprise me that something sat on them long enough to leave marks. It's cosmetic..doesn't affect their usefulness...but being foam, I figured it would eventually pop back out, but that doesn't seem to be happening. I will say I stupidly paid more for the pink ones...because pink. Like it makes a difference what color they are?
