They arrived days before my trip and I started using them immediately. The first walk I had zero knee pain and I was cautiously optimistic. I wore them in Spain and walked many miles (approximately 30) with zero knee pain. Thank God!! They really work! I wore three different pairs or shoes swapping the inserts each time. I’ll be ordering several more because I wear various work, casual and athletic shoes. By the way, I’ve been switching these inserts between my sneakers, oxfords, and casual footwear and they fit perfectly and work in each style. I’m truly impressed and so happy. They were recommended to me by my PT as part of the corrective regiment for my jumpers knee. They definitely are more rigid with the carbon insert. They will prevent your arches from flattening when your feet are fatigued and compromise the arch. They provide solid support. **Q: Do the carbon ones provide enough support to help with pronation issues?** A: The carbon provides excellent support for FLAT footed individuals. If you have a normal or high arch you will not have enough support. I have very flat feet and these provide the perfect amount of support for me.
