Buy it you won't regret it !!! **Q: If the dog attempted to claw or scratch where these are in place, could he pull them loose or are they pretty secure?** A: They have only come loose for me when I roll up the rear windows, the tabs sometimes get caught. Otherwise they are pretty secure. **Q: fits suv?** A: Fits well on front windows of my 2012 grand Cherokee but will not work on back windows because of child safety feature. **Q: How are these with tinted windows? I don't want one that uses velcro that I have to leave on my doors, but I also don't want to scratch my tint...** A: Nothing sticks to the window and there is no velcro. They have 4 plastic tabs that fit into the window space in the door. The tabs could damage the tinting if the door guard stayed in place, but it will more then likely fall off the first time you raise the window.
