Review: Great value. Not the most durable thing out there, but it's durable enough for a student/commuter like me. - While it looks more expensive than it really is, the straps themselves feel a bit cheap/flimsy when the watch isn't clasped around my wrist, but that doesn't really matter. For my purposes, this watch is more than durable enough. The pink version of this seems so cute, but I chose the black version in the end since I read reviews that the pink one would yellow over time. I'm glad this is waterproof to where it can sustain getting splashed at when I wash my hands. I can probably shower and swim with this on if I needed to, after reading the reviews. It's not one of those stylish/accessory like watches that I'd enjoy, but I purchased this for longevity and durability, and for 17$, this is an excellent price. I appreciate that it tells me the day of the month as well. For sizing purposes, my wrist's circumference is about 6 inches (= a little over 15 cm), and this watch is plenty big enough to wrap around my wrist (when I "clasp" this, I thread the needle-thing through the fifth notch out of a total of 10 notches on the wristband).
Review: Greatest Watch For Work Ever - I could not do without this watch. It is big enough for me to tell the time without my glasses on, but not too big. I use the bezel on a several-times-a-day basis at work, and in my kitchen at home. For me, it is the perfect watch ever made. The battery replaces with simple screws on the back, instead of a tricky watch-makers tool. Once, after bonking my watch hard, water got inside of it. I screwed the back off, and dried it out, then reseated the seal and screwed the back on. It has now ran for two more years without a leak. ( I actually ordered a replacement after I made it leak. The replacement is sitting unopened on a shelf. ) Do you see the bezel on the photo? My pie has been in the oven for 25 minutes. I simply could not live without this.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does the dial alarm/timer work for this watch? Can I set up an alarm or timer?**
A: The other answers are confusing. There is no alarm. The rotating bezel simply helps calculate elapsed time by marking the start of some period, showing roughly how many minutes have passed since that time. The idea was that divers stop for decompression at certain depths for certain periods ascending after a dive. After strenuous activity breathing dense gas mixtures brains are not optimally operational so analog dive watches helped remember the beginning and calculate the end of decompression stops. This simulation helps you remember when your parking meter needs feeding.

**Q: does it have a back light?**
A: No backlight. Meager phosphorescent paint on hands (just a dot on second hand); nominal, useless paint on numerals. If you want to check the time immediately after going from full sun into a dark theatre or cave the glow is plenty—otherwise you'll want a torch. (Or you'll reach for your 'phone to use its light and realize it can tell you the time just as well.) This isn't meant to disparage; backlight burns battery power and small hands can't hold much paint, so a small watch with a small battery can beneficially dispense with internal illumination.

**Q: Have you worn this watch snorkeling more than once?**
A: Yes, many times.
This is the only watch I've owned unobtrusive enough to leave on all the time. I never take it off, skin diving included. I rarely descend below 3-4 meters; that's well within its pressure range.

**Q: My nursing school requires us to get a watch with second hand, does this watch have a second hand?**
A: Yes, this watch has a second hand.
Thank you

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 100 m. sealed case, high-contrast face
*by P***N on May 7, 2022*

That's all you need to know. It's a simple, small, inexpensive, analog watch in a watertight case. The smaller and lighter the better for all-day every-day wear, their downside being that small faces can be difficult to decipher. And indeed the date window on this watch is minuscule, its recessed numerals all but invisible in anything less than direct light; the phosphorescence is similarly nearly useless. However, the black/white version sports big bold hands & numbers that can be read at a glance and that's what's important. So is 100 m. waterproofing, which simply means it doesn't have to come off for the 100 times/day my hands are in water. I'll add that resin straps, while functional and wicked cheap, are usually stiff and annoying—this shiny little one is less so. I'm actually going to keep it on the watch, which I keep on my wrist all day, every day. The only embellishment is a rotating bezel, which is mostly decorative but can help frazzled brains remember deadlines by simply pointing at either the start or end of some elapsed time. 24 minutes on your parking meter? Point the arrow 24 minutes ahead and know at a glance how long you have left. Want to know how long you've been on hold with Customer Service? Point to the minute the music starts and quantify your complaint precisely when you give up and send email. Reminder popped up on your computer that you're meeting someone today, which you'd completely spaced out and you have 8 other things to do before then? Point at the meeting time to give yourself a running countdown while you juggle overlapping tasks. Rotating bezels were invented to prevent underestimating decompression stops when ascending from deep dives, but nothing prevents you from using one to time your bike rides or record just when your neighbor's cock starts crowing in the morning. Update: the resin watchband failed within a year but I had a good fabric band that fit so this little watch keeps on serving without a hitch. I have other watches but this one has replaced them all!
