This is a nice and warm blanket but it does not have a silky feeling on all sides. The pile is a little bit longer on one side (that is why it doesn't have that silky feeling), the other side is a shorter pile and silky. If you want a fuzzy soft blanket and don't care if the blanket feels totally silky this is the one for you.
