I overpacked a little bit, and it wouldn't fit inside of the personal size item, but that's okay. I took some out, and was able to stuff it in and pass inspection.Because I was able to put more into it, it was heavy, and I do wish it had a shoulder strap. I ended up having blood under the surface of my skin from trying to carry the bag using the handles on my shoulder.
