These are plenty big enough to go over those crazy thick mattresses they make these days. For that reason I would put out a caveat that if you have an RV mattress or other thinner mattress, these will probably be way too big for it. Mine is probably 14 inches thick and these sheets are more than big enough to fit easily. One other thing to note is that they have a few little flecks of brown in them, which I suspect is related to them being a natural material. There are maybe 3-4 of these spots across an entire queen size sheet, but they are clearly part of the fiber and not spots or stains. This doesn't bother me at all, but if you are very fussy and it will bother you, just be aware of it. I bought these at the same time as I got a new mattress cover and a new lightweight blanket all aimed at helping us stay cooler at night, and the combination of the products has worked like a charm. So I'd recommend these as an element of your temperature regulation solution as well. ### ⭐⭐⭐ I really loved these sheets when I first took them out of ... *by M***E on May 18, 2016* I really loved these sheets when I first took them out of the package. Even after sleeping on them, I loved them. They are very soft and cozy. However, the problem I have had is that despite following all of the washing instructions as specified, my sheets have come out of the wash twice with holes in them. I have never used bleach on them and there our washing machine does not have an agitator, so there is nothing for them to snag on. I washed the sheets by themselves, too. So all I can think is there is something wrong with them. Disappointed big time after paying a lot of money. My only disappointment is the fitted sheet seems to have been designed for an 18 inch mattress, whereas I have a 6 inch plus a 2 inch topper.
