For me, if something doesn't go in the dishwasher, it goes in the trash. I've put the carafe on the button rack maybe 50 times, and I run my dishwasher with heated drying, sanitary cycle, and extra hot rinse. **Q: Where is it made?** A: This Amazon listing states "country of origin: China". I was interested in this coffee pot until I found that it was made in China and listed for 70+ dollars. **Q: Which filters are you using?
