I thought about using my tier jack on top of my folding traction boards, but that meant unloading a pile of gear to get to my jack, and who knows how safe it is to jack up a car on snow. I thought I’d never use the bogouts, but holy crap there was a tree almost lined up perfectly behind me and I had another rope with me I tied on to the bogouts that just made it to my car. It was a little tricky still though because I don’t have lockers and X-mode kept on spinning the wrong tires, but after rocking the car back and forth from D to R, eventually it figured it out and the bogouts dragged me off the snow.
